Delete Your Aayu Account & Data

Aayu (operated by ASHT Innovations) lets you permanently delete your account and the personal and health data associated with it. You can do this yourself inside the app, or ask us to do it by email if you cannot sign in. This page explains both routes and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

If you can sign in, this is the quickest route. Open Aayu, go to Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm when prompted. Your account and the health records held against it are deleted right away, and files you uploaded are removed from storage shortly afterwards. You do not need to contact us.

Request deletion by email

Use this route if you cannot sign in. You do not need to be signed in to make a request.

  • 1. Email support@DrAayu.com with the subject line Delete My Account.
  • 2. Tell us how you sign in to Aayu and give us the detail that goes with it: your registered email address, your registered phone number, or the Google or Apple account you use. Whichever one your account uses is enough. You do not need to supply all of them.

Where you can, send the message from the email address registered to your Aayu account, because that is the fastest way for us to confirm the account is yours. If your account has no registered email address, or you have lost access to it, write from any address and we will confirm your ownership another way. We never delete an account before establishing who it belongs to, which matters for health data.

What gets deleted

Once we verify your request, we permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize the data associated with your account, including:

  • Account & identification data: name, contact number, email address, and login credentials.
  • Health & medical data: medical history, diagnostic results, treatment details, prescriptions, and laboratory records you uploaded.
  • Technical & usage data: device identifiers, IP address, operating system, browser type, geolocation (if enabled), and analytics linked to your account.
  • Communication data: your support inquiries and feedback.

A limited set of records may be kept only where retention is required by law; for details, see our Privacy Policy.

Timeline

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days of confirming account ownership, unless a longer period is required by law. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been deleted.
